After nearly two decades on council, Bolin says he’s ready to take on the mayor’s role. “You are gifted the amazing honour of this temporary opportunity by the proud people who call this great city their home,” he wrote. “I’ve had the same honour for the past 18 years as a councillor, and it’s far from over.”
A well-known business figure in Northeast B.C., Bolin owns and leads Bolin Enterprises, which operates in the hospitality and service sectors across the region. He’s been a strong voice for economic development, resource industries, and business investment in northern B.C.
He also served as leader of the BC Conservative Party before stepping down in 2023.
His campaign focuses on economic growth, attracting investment, public safety, and stronger advocacy with higher levels of government.
Priorities include family values, seniors advocacy, safer streets, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.
Bolin promises to keep pushing for growth while ensuring residents benefit from development, creating a community that appreciates and grows with its people. His family has called Fort St. John home for nearly a century as he looks ahead to the October vote.
