The Village of Tumbler Ridge

Tumbler Ridge is a village in northeastern British Columbia, Canada. It is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and is part of the Peace River Regional District. As of 2021, the population was 2,004.

Tumbler Ridge was officially incorporated as a village on April 11, 1981. The name "Tumbler Ridge" is derived from the unique geological formations in the area. The village has a modern history tied to coal mining and resource development.
