An accident north of Fort Nelson closed the Alaska Highway Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred at 4:43 am, about an hour north of Fort Nelson.
According to the RCMP, police responded to a report of a crash involving a propane tanker truck.
The highway had to be shut down in both directions because the truck was on fire.
There is no word yet on the driver’s condition.
