On January 4th at approximately 5:35 p.m., Fort Smith received a report that a person had been assaulted and robbed with a firearm at a residence in the community.
The victim received serious injuries and was flown from the community for medical treatment.
The suspect, 32-year-old Terron Stevens, remains at large and is believed to be in possession of a pistol. A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Stevens is charged with the following, in relation to this matter and an unrelated January 3rd incident:
· Robbery with a firearm, contrary to section 344(1)(a) of the Criminal Code· Assault with a weapon, contrary to section 267(a) of the Criminal Code· Aggravated assault, contrary to section 268 of the Criminal Code· (2 counts) Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, contrary to section 88(1) of the Criminal Code· (2 counts) Uttering threats, contrary to section 264.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code· Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code
