Police in British Columbia say no charges have been approved yet in connection with a home invasion in Fort St. John.

On December 30, 2025, around 6 p.m., RCMP responded to a report of a man with a handgun trying to get into a home near Peace River Road and 111 Avenue.

Officers quickly set up containment, and the suspect surrendered without incident.

One person at the scene was physically assaulted, and police seized a loaded firearm that hadn’t been fired. Two other people were also arrested in relation to the incident.

The main suspect remains in custody and is expected to face several firearms and assault charges once approved. The other two individuals are also being held as the investigation continues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Fort St. John RCMP or reach out anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
