Northern Health announces the first babies of 2026 born across Northern BC.
The region’s first baby of the year was born in Terrace, at Ksyen Regional Hospital on January 1 at 2:25 am.
Baby Molina was welcomed into the Terrace community by her parents, Chantel and Robert, along with her four siblings.
The first baby of the year in Dawson Creek was Baby Bradley, born at the Dawson Creek and District Hospital at 8:54 am.
The Fort St. John Community welcomed its first baby this year about an hour and a half earlier.
Baby Hadley was born at 7:25 am at Fort St. John Hospital.
