Mounties in Fort St. John have arrested a man in connection with the city’s latest shooting. On Wednesday, pollice responded to a report of shots fired in a residential neighbourhood.

The RCMP said that officers arrived at the scene and within minutes were able isolate the residences to ‘ensure public safety.’ A search warrant was then executed in the 9200 block of 91st Street.

The Fort St John RCMP continue to investigate the incident and currently have one man in custody for several firearms offences.

BC Prosecution Service have approved 8 Criminal Code charges against 32 year old, Brandon Jordan Allemeersch.

In October, police arrested and charged 22-year old Evan Love, after three shootings occurred in Fort St. John in the span of a week.
