RCMP investigate assault with a weapon D.C.

The incident occurred in Dawson Creek on June 29, 2026.

At approximately 3:43 p.m., police were called to the area following reports that a woman had allegedly been stabbed. BC Emergency Health Services also attended the scene.

The investigation has determined that the victim was assaulted with a weapon by two suspects. The victim sustained minor injuries but was checked at the hospital before being released immediately.

Police are actively investigating the incident and are seeking witnesses. Anyone who was in the block of 105th Avenue at the time of the assault, or who may have dash camera or surveillance footage, is asked to contact Dawson Creek RCMP at 250-784-3700.
