The BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) has classified a four-hectare fire as ‘out of control,’ meaning it’s expected to spread beyond its current boundaries.
According to the BCWS map, the fire is located near 249 Road and Baldonnel Road, south of the Beatton River, and is suspected to have been caused by human activity.
At this time, there are no evacuation orders or alerts in place.
