Hudson’s Hope Health Centre closed again until Monday

The Hudson’s Hope Health Centre closed once again on Friday, according to Northern Health’s new Emergency Department Status webpage.

The health authority says the Health Centre is temporarily closed on Friday and is expected to re-open on Monday at 8:30 am.

The Emergency Department was also unavailable between March 6th and March 9th. That came after a 10-day closure in the middle of February.

It is believed that the chronic staffing shortage that has plagued Northern Health for the last five years has been the leading cause for the extended diversion.
