For quite some time in Fort Nelson, an effort to raise money for a CT Scanner and all that goes along with it, has been underway.
Today the effort received quite a boost.
The Fort Nelson Hospital & Healthcare Foundation and all residents would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Fort Nelson First Nation for their generous donation of $100,000 to the CT Scanner project!
This contribution brings closer the effort of acquiring CT diagnostic services which will have a lasting, positive impact on healthcare for every resident.
The donation will ensure that Fort Nelson hospital can provide advanced, timely diagnostic care close to home, reducing the need for our community members to travel for essential services.
