A Public Hearing will take place at the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality (NRRM) Municipal Office, 5319 – 50th Avenue South, Fort Nelson, BC, at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 8, 2025.
This will give the public a chance to share their views with the Regional Council on the Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw, which outlines the community’s updated vision, principles, objectives, and policies for land use, growth, and development.
The proposed Bylaw No. 242, 2025 would replace the current Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 64, 2011. Copies of the bylaw can be viewed at the NRRM Municipal Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, from November 28 to December 8, 2025, or through the provided links.
Anyone who believes their property interests may be affected can speak in person, through a representative, or by written submission during the hearing. Virtual participation will also be available.
