Residents in Fort Nelson, Fort St. John, Taylor, and Dawson Creek can cast their ballots during advance voting starting Wednesday, October 7, for the 2026 General Civic Elections.
In Fort St. John, voting takes place at the Legion, with a second date on October 14.
Fort Nelson voters can head to the Recreation Centre, while Taylor residents can vote at the Community Hall on Cherry Avenue West, both open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Dawson Creek’s advance voting is at the Ovintiv Events Centre’s Upper Lobby, also from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with another chance to vote on October 14.
General voting day is set for Saturday, October 17, across the Peace Region and Northern Rockies, with polls open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Free weekday transit will be available on voting days to help residents get to the polls.
This year’s elections will decide mayors, councillors, school trustees, and regional district representatives.
