30-year-old Trevor Olson-Loe has been charged in relation to a recent spike in commercial break-ins and thefts in the Fort St John area.
The Fort St John RCMP Detachment saw a significant increase in commercial break-ins and thefts in the preceding two months. Along with the recent surge in property crime-related incidents, frontline RCMP members investigated 4 separate incidents between July 22nd and August 17th, identifying the suspect as Trevor Olson-Loe.
On August 17th, Trevor Olson-Loe was arrested and brought before the courts with multiple recommended charges in relation to the above incidents.
He has since been remanded into custody with the following charges:
- Robbery x 2
- Fraud
- Theft Under $5000
- Possessing a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Breaking and Entering to Commit an Indictable Offence
- Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000
- Failure to Comply with a Probation Order
Trevor Olson-Loe remains in custody until his next court appearance on August 31st.
