A family is recovering after a near-drowning incident at Stonebridge Hotel pool.
A Washington State family is recovering after a frightening near-drowning incident at a Dawson Creek hotel pool that sent three people to hospital Thursday.
According to information obtained by CJDC TV News, a mother and her three children were swimming in the pool at the Stonebridge Hotel when the woman reportedly suffered a medical emergency and went underwater.
As the situation unfolded, two of the children, including an infant, also began to struggle in the water.
Sources say the family’s oldest daughter, believed to be about nine years old, jumped into the pool as several bystanders rushed to help.

Lifesaving CPR was performed before crews from the BC Ambulance Service and the Dawson Creek Fire Department arrived at the scene.
The mother and two children were transported to Dawson Creek Hospital. All three victims were conscious when they were taken for medical treatment, according to sources.
Their current conditions have not been released.
CJDC TV News contacted the Dawson Creek RCMP for additional information. Police said they were unable to comment on the incident at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the medical emergency remain unclear.
