A bus with 17 passengers rolled on a highway Wednesday morning, northwest of Grande Prairie.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 672, 10 kilometers north of Beaverlodge, Alberta
EHS-Alberta said 17 patients were attended to with various injuries.
Four patients suffered life-threatening injuries in the rollover . Two were transported to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance and two were transported to hospital by ground EHS.
One patient was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
Six were transported to hospital by a non-emergency transport vehicle with non-life-threatening injuries .The remaining six elected to transport themselves to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The passengers were oil and gas workers headed to Grande Prairie. Their departure location is unknown.
RCMP on scene confirmed the bus veered off road into the ditch, and flipped back onto the road as it rolled over.
Alcohol, speed and weather are not considered factors. The highway was closed between Range Roads 90 and 92.
