After being open for one day, the emergency room at Hudson’s Hope Health Centre is back on diversion.
ER services were unavailable from April 10 to 27 and for 31 of the last 66 days as of Tuesday.
According to Northern Health’s website, which provides status updates on emergency department closures, Hudson’s Hope’s ER is expected to reopen Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.
Hudson’s Hope is currently being served by one physician working part-time. The focus has been placed on primary care, which has often forced the emergency room to close.
