January 20th 2026, Chief Councillor Archie Harrold (pictured) signed the Restoration Funding Agreement on behalf of Fort Nelson First Nation, alongside Minister Adrian Dix.
This agreement supports on-the-ground work to heal and restore the land-including restoration initiatives connected to broader Treaty 8 efforts to address cumulative impacts and strengthen shared stewardship across the Northeast.
Fort Nelson First Nation looks forward to sharing more as projects and priorities move forward!
