In the early hours of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 3:46 am, Fort St John RCMP were alerted to a shooting.
BC Ambulance responded to the 9500 Block of 96th Ave after receiving a report of a person being shot.
Officers quickly arrived at the scene, discovering one individual injured by gunfire while another appeared unscathed.
Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots in the area. Police cordoned off 96th Ave and 96th Street to conduct a forensic investigation.
This marks the third shooting incident in a week, with the most recent occurring within 12 hours. The earlier two shootings led to arrests and search warrants being executed.
RCMP are diligently working to find and apprehend those responsible for this latest incident.
