Residents of Tumbler Ridge are organizing a second rally to call for evening and weekends emergency room coverage.
Northern Health reduced after-hours on-call services on September 4. Since the announcement, the community has actively expressed its concerns.
The second rally is scheduled for 11 am on October 4 on the front steps of the Tumbler Ridge Town Hall. The first rally was held on September 7 before a meeting with Northern Health officials.
Following community feedback, Northern Health said the changes are temporary and it continues to explore further adjustments.
