28-year-old Abby Andrews was last seen on April 7, 2010, in Fort St. John, British Columbia.
At the time, Abby was three months pregnant and looking forward to becoming a mother. She was known as a warm, friendly presence at both FSJ Fashions and The Frontier Bar and Grill, where she worked.
Abby was not in a long-term relationship, and there has been speculation that the father of her unborn child may not have shared her excitement about the pregnancy. That day, Abby left her basement apartment on 99th Avenue to visit a male friend—someone some believe may have been the baby’s father.
She was in regular contact with her mother, so when Abby failed to call that evening to say she’d arrived home safely, alarm bells went off. Her family’s concern grew quickly when they couldn’t reach her, and she was soon reported missing.
Tragically, no trace of Abby has ever been found.
Abby is 6 feet tall with a medium build, brown hair, and hazel eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was believed to be carrying a purple Guess purse and a pink BlackBerry flip phone.
