The Love Local contest is on now. The Fort Nelson & District Chamber of Commerce along with participating local businesses give you a chance of winning weekly cash (certificates) you can spend at local businesses. Each week, $150 will be given away. Simply post your purchase receipts with the hash tag #lovelocalNRRM or #shopNRRM on social media or take your receipts to the chamber office. Winners will be announced every Friday morning.

 

The Fort Nelson and Chamber of Commerce Small Business Christmas Dinner is a go for Saturday Dec 6. Doors open 6pm with dinner at 7. The evening will include a dance, gift exchange, silent auction, raffles, and safe ride home. Call 250-774-2956 or email info@fortnelsonchamber.com

 

It is once again time for the annual Fort Nelson Parade of Lights! Please join us on Sunday December 7th at 5:30pm along 50th Avenue North to watch the convoy of lights proceed from The Pub to the Northern Rockies Regional Rec Centre! Fort Nelson Narcotics Anonymous meets every Friday evening 7pm at the friendship centre. All are welcome.


The Fort Nelson Community Recreations Center offers a wide variety of activities including skating, pool, water slide, hot tub, steam room, sauna, climbing wall and racquetball/squash court. Contact the Town of Fort Nelson or drop in for a visit. Book the climbing wall at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellations.
